Chapter 14, Civility
In this chapter, we take our usual wide-ranging approach to Civility and the practice of tolerance as virtues when in public discourse. We talk about when and where they are needed, and the possibility that it may sometimes be more appropriate to abandon them. Most particularly, the somewhat paradoxical, yet socially practical view, that we must not tolerate intolerance.

Here at the Everyday Knight we strive to include the Chivalric Virtues in our everyday lives. The hugely popular Game of Thrones series, originally penned by George RR Martin, has given us some modern examples of chivalry, both good and bad. We decided it might be worth discussing them in the context of our definition of the virtues, and comparing and contrasting some of our favorite characters.
